Broken dreams are everywhere
Hearts scattered on the floor
People alone forever more
They never had a chance to prosper
Blood smeared on the faces of the innocent
Sadness, and destruction imminent
Lost in the heat of a forgotten past
The amount of tears cried is unsurpassed
Some can't handle it, and take the easy way out
By killing themselves throughout
Hanging from a ceiling, and taking pills
Just because they can't make it over the hills
Life is a hard thing to get through for some
But you have to try your best to overcome
